Turning Point
“JT” Thompson had excelled at everything he’d ever attempted, yet racing motorcycles was his true passion. A dangerous sport, JT had no fear and though seemingly reckless at times, he handled his 250 Suzuki RM motocross bike like it was part of him. Pursued by all the factory teams, JT would have his pick on who to team with and when to sign on. Yet, fate often plays dirty as a horrific preventable accident would end this dream.
Laying in his hospital bed after hours of surgery, the lithe teenager wakes to find someone giving him a sponge bath. He had no idea what had happened, nor did he know why he could only see out of his right eye. But what he did know, was that the young woman holding his arm up and rubbing him down with a warm sponge was stunningly beautiful. He was in love, instantly and head over heels. But the moment of attraction would be short lived as this would be the last time he would see her…for years. Yet that separation did not and would not deter his heart.
